GENERAL OPERATION
CD/VCD/MP3/DVD DISPLAy WINDOW
Time indicator: In stop mode: display total
time of the disc. In play mode: display play -
back time playing track
Track Number Indicator: CD/VCD/MP3/
DVD track number is indicated
Repeat Mode Indicator.
A-B repeat: Lighted when repeat from A to
B
Play Mode Indicator: Lights when play
mode is activated
Pause Mode Indicator: Lights when playing
CD/VDMP3/DVD is paused.
Audio indicator: L or R lighted, output is
mono L or R. Both LR lighted, output is
stereo
PAL/NTSC indicator: PAL lighted, video
output i PAL format. NTSC lighted, video
output is NTSC format.
Channel indicator: Display channel number
MP3/VCD/DVD indicator: When play MP3/
VCD/ they will high light in turn.
AM/FM indicator: When play radio AM/FM
they will high light in turn.
NOTES:
If a disc is loaded upside down, „NO DISC
will be displayed.
If no disc is loaded, „NO DISC“ will be dis -
played.
Opening the CD compartment lid while a
CD/VCDMP3/DVD is playing could scratch
the disc.
Always press the STOP button and wait for
the disc to stop rotating before opening the
CD compartment lid.
Using headphones
When he headphones are plugged in, the
speakers are automatically disconnected.

Compact discs
Both 8cm and 12cm discs can be played n
this unit
NOTE: Place only one disc at a time in com
partment
Only discs bearing the logo as show can be
played in this unit.

Always place the compact disc in the CD
compartment with the label facing up. Com -
pact discs can be played on only one side.
Fingerprints and dust should be carefully wi -
ped off he disc‘s signal surface (opposite the
label side) with a soft cloth. Gently wipe in a
straight motion from the inside to the outside
of the disc.
Discs should be returned to their case after
use to avoid serious scratches which could
cause the player to skip.
Do not expose a disc to direct sunlight, high
humidity, or high temperatures for extended
periods of time to prevent warping the disc.
Do not apply paper or write anything on the
surface of the disc.
Do not use cleaners or antistatic sprays on
discs, such as those used for phonograph
recorder.
MP3 only play MPEG I , and sampling
frequency is 32kHz or 44.1 kHz.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If an abnormal display indication, audio &
video noise or an operating problem occurs,
back to OFF position, then disconnect the
mains lead and all cables. Remove the batte -
ries. Wait at least 5 seconds, then reconnect
all cables to correct position. Reconnect the
mains lead and reinstall the batteries.
