Mounting the guard (Fig 2). 

 

 

 

6.3.1.

 

Remove the screw (1). 

6.3.2.

 

Insert the guard (2) pushing it to the bottom of its seat. 

6.3.3.

 

Tighten the screw (1). 

 

6.4.

 

PREPARING TO WORK 

 

6.4.1.

 

Checking the machine. 

 

 

 

6.4.2.

 

Before starting work please; 

6.4.2.1.

 

Check that the switch lever and the safety lever move freely without forcing and 

return automatically and rapidly back to their neutral position; 

6.4.2.2.

 

Check that the switch lever remains locked if the safety lever is not pressed; 

6.4.2.3.

 

Check that the cooling air vents are not obstructed; 

6.4.2.4.

 

Check that handgrips and protection devices are clean and dry, correctly mounted 

and well fastened to the machine; 

6.4.2.5.

 

Check that the cutting devices and guards are not damaged; 

6.4.2.6.

 

Check that the machine is not showing signs of wear or damage due to knocks or 

other causes, and carry out the necessary repairs. 

6.4.2.7.

 

Check that the battery is in good working condition and there are no signs of 

damage. 

6.4.2.8.

 

Never use the machine with a damaged or worn battery; 

6.4.2.9.

 

Charge the battery according to the instructions. 

 

 

Make sure that the battery is not inserted in its compartment. 

 

 

The guard must be fitted correctly to respect the safety requirements and the 
correct position of the line cutting knife. IMPORTANT Once mounted, the guard 
should never be removed.
