Wear close fitting clothing to help protect you from cuts. Always wear long pants, sturdy
non-slip shoes and protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, a helmet with a visor and an
acoustic shield.

Do not allow anyone to remain in the range of the pole chain saw during use. Keep people,
children and animals away from the work area. If conducting group work, keep sufficient
distance between people.

Make sure that the handles are clean and dry. When the pole chain saw is running always
grip the front handle with your left hand and the rear handle with your right hand.

Always maintain a stable, balanced and firm stance during operation. Do not work on
slippery or unstable ground.

Firmly hold the pole chain saw with both hands. Put yourself in a position that allows you to
