(6) Strong function
Strong functions may be set in COOL and HEAT mode.
(7) Dry function
Dry function may be set in COOL mode and DRY mode.
(8) Automatic wind speed control
In this mode, the indoor fan automatically selects high, medium and low wind speed according to
ambient temperature change.
(9) Upper and lower purge control
When power is turned on, the upper and lower purge motor firstly rotates the air deflector
anticlockwise to 0 position and close the air outlet. After the machine is turned on, if purge
function is set, when indoor fan stops, air deflector will stop at the current position; when indoor
fan runs, air deflector restores purge state. When mode is converted from COOL, DRY and FAN
to HEAT, if air deflector is opened to original position D in HEAT mode, purge will run
according to heating angle (A-D); When mode is converted from HEAT to COOL, DRY and FAN,
if air deflector is opened to original position B in COOL mode, purge will run according to
cooling angle (A-C)
(10) Monitor display

Operation pattern and mode pattern display
When power is turned on, all display patterns display, and only power/running lamp is on. The
power/running lamp is on when starting-up is conducted through remote control. Current set
running mode lamp is also displayed. Light keys and all displays are closed, except those
displayed by indicator light (without light control). At the time of defrosting, double 8 displays H1,
corresponding indicator light displays 3 seconds’ extinguishing and twinkling for one time.

Double 8 display
When air conditioner is turned on, power-on default nixie tube displays current set temperature
(the temperature setting range is 16 to 3
0℃
). In automatic mode, COOL and FAN display 25

is displayed in HEAT mode, and single cold controller only displays 25

(11) PG motor locked-rotor protection
When the fan is turned on, if the engine operates at a lower speed for a continuous period of time,
the operation shall be stopped, and the locked-rotor shall be displayed, in order to prevent the
engine from automatic protection; if the engine is turned on currently, the double 8 nixietube will
display locked-rotor failure code H6; if the engine is turned off currently, the locked-rotor failure
information will not be displayed.
