S825/1
5. When filling the fuel line, introduce the liquid slowly so as not to force air
through the meter at high rate.
6. The HO25/40/50APM and HO25SPM have a twin passive, reed switch
pulse outputs rated at 5-36V, 15mA max with a 90° signal phase shift.
One reed switch is connected across the red and yellow wires with the
other connected across the blue and black wires.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
HO25/40/50AME & HO25SME
1. Activate the display - Prior to running fuel through the meter press the
ON/CLEAN
button to activate the display. If no fuel is drawn for one
minute the display will de-active.
2. Reset display - With the display activated press the
ON/CLEAN
button
again to reset the main volume display.
3. Batch Total – This is shown at the bottom of the display in the normal
operation mode. To reset the batch total press the
TOTAL
button twice
,so that the batch total is flashing, followed by the
ON/CLEAN
button.
4. Totalizer - To view the ongoing (non-resettable) totalizer press the
TOTAL
button. Press the
ON/CLEAN
button to return to the previous
normal operation mode with the batch total showing.
5. Calibration – The calibration mode is accessed by pressing the
SETUP
button. The calibration factor and the units of measure are then
displayed with the calibration factor which can be adjusted by pressing
the
SETUP
button until the digit to be changed is flashes. This digit can
then be increased by pressing the
ON/CLEAN
button and decreased by
pressing the
TOTAL
button. Each single unit of increase or decrease in
the calibration factor equates to a percentage of liquid volume
adjustment. For the HO25AME the percentage is 0.07%, for the
HO40AME 0.03% and for the HO50AME 0.01%. An increase of one unit
will result in a decrease of 0.07%/0.03%/0.01% in the volume of liquid
dispensed for the volume displayed on the meter and a decrease will
have the opposite effect so if, during a measure check, the display of a
HO25AME shows 20 litres and the volume in the test measure is 20.1
litres increase the calibration factor by 7 to bring the accuracy to within
0.05%. Once the calibration factor has been set and no more buttons
are pressed the meter will return to the normal operation mode after 3
seconds and retain the changes made.
6. Unit of measure – This can be changed by accessing the calibration
