Apply the silicone grease to the caliper holder.

TIGHTENING TORQUE

MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL

AND DISASSEMBLY

Please a cloth underneath the union bolt on the mas-
ter cylinder to prevent spilled drops of the brake fluid.
Unscrew the union bolts and disconnect the brake
hose from the master cylinder joint.

Remove the two clamp bolts and take off the master
cylinder.

Silicone grease.

WARNING

Bleed the air from brake fluid circuit after
reassembling the caliper. (See page 2-15)

CAUTION

Immediately and completely wipe off any brake
fluid contacting any part of the motorcycle. The
fluid reacts chemically with paint, plastics, rubber
materials, etc., and will damage them severely.
