7.3. ORP Calibration
One-Point Calibration
The P-38
series features the “One-Point Calibration” on ORP sensors which is the
recommended standard method.
Before calibration, make sure the standard buffer and the sensor probe are
uncontaminated and not beyond its lifespan.
One test container with standard ORP buffer solution is required for calibration.
DISPLAY FUNCTIONS
Select Calibrate to initiate sensor calibration
Select Default to reset all calibration settings back
to factory settings.
Reading:
Current ORP reading from the sensor
Buffer:
Set the ORP value of the buffer to be used
Place the sensor into the standard buffer. Then
press
ENTER to start calibration. The screen shows
CAL indicating the calibration is in progress.
Press
ENTER when the Reading is stable to display
calibration results.
