Replacing the filter elements

 

8. 

Remove all filter elements and dispose of them in 
an environmentally friendly way. 

 

9. 

Clean the inside of the filter housing of coarse 
dirt. 

10.  Prepare the new filter elements by moistening 

the O-ring on each element with the operating 
medium. 

11.  Insert the new elements into the element 

receptacle by applying pressure while slightly 
rotating the element. 

 Do not use excessive force or a hammer, 

etc. 

 

12.  Clean the sealing surface on the filter housing. 

Check the housing sealing ring for damage. 
Replace it if necessary. 

Lightly wet the O-ring on the cover with medium. 

13.  Clean the sealing surface on the cover. 

 

14.  Swivel the cover including the cover lifting device 

(D) back over the filter housing. 

Turn the handwheel (C) on the cover lifting 
device (D) in a clockwise direction. 

The cover will be lowered. 

Center the cover on the filter housing.
