CSM 2000 Series
Hydraulic Connection of the CSM
Suction port connection - IN
NOTICE
Overpressure at the suction port connection (IN)
The unit will be destroyed
►
Note the maximum pressure on the suction port connection IN
for CSM2x30-1 = -0.4 bar … 0.5 bar
for CSM2x30-2 = -0.4 bar … 120 bar
NOTICE
Severe contamination
The unit will be damaged
►
Do not prime directly at the bottom of the tank
►
Do not prime in the sump
►
Never prime without a built-in suction screen
The greatest contamination is found on the bottom of the tank. All
impurities and other particles are deposited on the bottom of the tank.
For the suction port connection (IN), use a flexible hose that is resistant to negative
pressure. Ensure that the nominal size of the supply lines is at least as large as the
cross-section of the unit in order to prevent excessively high pressure loss.
Suction port connection to the tank must be made so that it is always below the oil
level.
