SOLUTION

9a.Depress each of the overload
buttons located in the electrical box.
Depressing one button at a time and
trying to start the saw will indicate
which motor was overloaded.

9b. Replace the fuse with a 5 Amp 250
Volt AG1 type fuse. Random blowouts
may occur but a quickly repeated blow
out indicates an internal wiring fault.

10.Reload with stock or remount blade.
Hold the hydraulic start button and
release the blade tension or open vises
far enough to deactivate the limit
switch.

11a. Stop immediately; reverse any two
of the three phase connections.

11b. Stop immediately, add hydraulic oil.
(See hydraulic maintenance pg. 3.3).

11c. Adjust accordingly.

12a. Solution usually requires opening
the control console, and should be left
to some one qualified to work on
machine tool electrical systems.

PROBLEM

9. Saw will not start.

10. Saw starts but will not run
after Start button has been
released.

vise functions.

14.Head will not rise.

CAUSE

9a.Motor overload has tripped.

9b. Control circuit fuse has
blown.

10. On machines so equipped,
the out-of-stock or blade
breakage limit switch has
been tripped.

11a. If blade wheels run clock
wise, wrong phase order in
power connection to saw.

11b. If pump is noisy, low
hydraulic oil.

11c. Pump-motor coupling has
separated.

12a. Observe pilot light(s) on
relevant valve. If pilot light
related to inoperative function
fails to light, problem is
electrical.

12b. If pilot light related to
inoperative function does light,
problem may be the coil. If
problem remains after
swapping coils it probably
results from dirt in the valve
spool.

13a.Mode selector switch is in
"neutral".

14a.Head up limit is set fully
down.
