not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful
interference to other instruments in the vicinity. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this
equipment does cause harmful interference to other instruments, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving instrument

Increase the separation between the equipment

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the other instrument(s) are connected

Consult the manufacturer or field service technician for help

"External equipment intended for connection to signal input, signal output or
other connectors, shall comply with relevant IEC standard (e.g., IEC 60950 for
IT equipment and IEC 60601 series for medical electrical equipment). In
addition, all such combinations - systems - shall comply with the standard IEC
60601-1-1, Safety requirements for medical electrical systems. Any person who
connects external equipment to signal input, signal output or other connectors
has formed at system and is therefore responsible for the system to comply with
the requirements of IEC60601-1-1. If, in doubt, contact qualified technician or
your local representative." (Or some cases, for example LCD Monitor, "This
instrument is intended to connect to the medical instrument only, which
complies with standards of IEC 60601 series.")
