Choke and throttle cable connections to engine, see "FIG. 13".
THROTTLE AND CHOKE CABLE INSTALLATION TO ENGINE (SEE "FIG. 13" &
"FIG. 14").
1. Clamp Instrument Panel to side of seat support in installed orientation
2. Make sure throttle lever is in the full throttle détente position.
3. Install Throttle Cable and leave cable clamp screw loose.
4. Clamp the throttle plate to the stop screw
5. Pull the cable conduit of the throttle cable rearward
6. Tighten the cable clamp screw and remove throttle plate clamp
7. Cycle the throttle lever 2 times, and then check the rpm. If the rpm is out of tolerance
then repeat steps 4-6.
8. Attach choke cable to choke lever leaving the cable clamp loose
9. Leaving the choke cable in the down position, tighten the cable clamp screw.
Hustler Z’s with Kawasaki 26 HP engines:
Cable and wiring harness routings: "FIG. 15" and "FIG. 16".
Fuel line from left tank is run beneath seat support cross member.
