Reliability and Performance
IR Impact Compressors are designed for years
of trouble free service. An advanced slinger oil
system reduces oil carry over and increases
efficiency. The compressor uses a single casting
with no bottom cover, eliminating bottom bolts that
may leak. IR Impact Compressors are also smaller
and lighter than other models at the same capacity.
Quieter Operation and Lower
Vibration
In some areas, noise from supermarket refrigeration
equipment can create an environmental issue.
That's why we made limiting operating noise a key
criterion. The result: the IR Impact Compressor is
quieter than other models with the same horsepower,
displacement and capacity. Along with lower noise
comes lower vibration, which helps prevent leaks in
the system.

Universal Design With
Dual Voltage and Multiple
Refrigerant Capabilities
One compressor version is used for all temperature
ranges using R404A, R507 and medium temperature
R22. An optimized compressor design is used for
R22 low temperature. Fewer models means less
inventory to manage, and lower inventory costs.
IR Impact Compressors also have dual voltage
capability on all models 6 HP and above.
