Checkin /correctin the fluid level of the h draulic clutch

Info

The fluid level rises with increased wear of the clutch lining discs.

- Move the clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

- Remove screws

- Remove cover

with membrane

CD.

- Check the fluid level.

Fluid level below container rim

4 mm (0.16 in)

If the fluid level does not meet specifications:

- Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.

- Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten the screws.

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.

- Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

- Move the clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.

with the appropriate hydraulic fluid.

Mount bleeding syringe

on bleeder screw (3 using a fitting hose piece.

on the clutch slave cylinder to the point where fill

ing is possible.

Clean up overflowed or spilt brake fluid immediately with water.

Avoid contact between brake fluid and painted parts. Brake fluid attacks

paint!

Use only clean brake fluid from a sealed container!

- Inject the liquid into the system until it escapes from hole

of the master cylin-

der without bubbles.

- To prevent overflow, drain fluid occasionally from the master cylinder reservoir.

- Remove the bleeding syringe. Mount and tighten screws bleeder screw.

- Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.
