a) Grind the top edge of the blade for bevel up.
b) Grind the bottom edge of the blade for bevel
down.
Battery maintenance
The batteries are maintenance free. Only let an
approved service center do servicing on the batteries if it
is necessary.
Hydraulic system
To do a check of the hydraulic hoses
• Examine the hydraulic hoses regularly. Replace
worn or damaged hydraulic hoses.
WARNING:
Hydraulic oil is dangerous.
The rubber in the hydraulic hoses wears with
time. Worn or damaged hydraulic hoses can
break and the hydraulic oil can cause injury.
If you cannot tell if the hydraulic hoses are
worn, always replace the hydraulic hoses.
To do a check of the hydraulic oil level
1. Read the hydraulic oil level on the hydraulic oil tank.
2. If the hydraulic oil level is too low, it is necessary to
replace the hydraulic oil. Refer to
To replace the oil
and oil filter on page 16
.
To read the state of charge
Note:
Always keep the product connected to a mains
socket when it is not in operation. The firmware in the
charger will control the level of charge in the batteries.
CAUTION:
Do not operate the product
while the charger is connected to a mains
socket. This will cause damage to the
charger.
1. Park the product in a safe area. Refer to
Work area
safety on page 6
.
2. Turn the ON/OFF key to the OFF position.
Note:
The product do not charge when the
ON/OFF key is in the ON position.
3. Connect the charger and keep the charger
connected until the next time you use the product.
To replace the oil and oil filter
WARNING:
Hydraulic oil is dangerous
to your skin. Clean spills with soap and
water.
WARNING:
Used oil and filters are
dangerous to the environment. Discard used
chemicals at an applicable disposal location.
