Checking the basic setting of the fork

For various reasons, no exact riding sag can be determined for the forks.

As with the shock absorber, smaller rider weight differences can be compensated by
the spring preload.

However, if the fork is often overloaded (hard end stop on compression), stiffer
springs must be fit to avoid damage to the fork and frame.
