CARBON FILTER
Your wine breathes through the cork of its bottle. In order to preserve the
quality and taste of your wines, they should be stored at the ideal
temperature and ambient conditions. Your wine cooler is equipped with an
active charcoal filtration system to ensure air purity and to maintain an odour
free cabinet for the storage of your wines. The filter assembly is located on
the rear panel inside your wine cooler.
We recommend that you change the filter every 12 months. Filters can be
purchased from husky-lifestyle.co.uk or by calling 01455 555397.
To replace your filter
1. Remove the bottles of wine stored on the
two (2) shelves in front of the filter.
2. Remove the shelves and set aside to
replace once you have changed the filter.
3. Hold the filter and turn it at 45 degrees
anti-clockwise or clockwise direction and
then pull it out.
4. Remove the existing filter and replace
with a new one.
5. Put the new filter into the hole and then
turn the filter at 45 degrees in clockwise
or anti-clockwise direction.
HOW TO MINIMISE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF YOUR
HUSKY WINE COOLER
• Energy consumption will be lower if the unit stands in a well
ventilated space and in particular the back of the unit and front vent
at the bottom of the unit are clear of obstruction.
• Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight or near a heat source
such as ovens, radiators, heaters, etc as this will increase energy
consumption.
• keep the door closed as much as possible.
• Setting the thermostat to a colder temperature means higher energy
consumption, so set only as cool as you really require.
• Do not overfill the cabinet - overfilling means that the air cannot
circulate freely inside the cabinet which may slow the process of
cooling and make the cabinet less efficient.
• Defrost the appliance if frost can be seen building up inside - frost
will increase energy consumption and make the cooling process
slower.
• Turn the appliance off completely if it is not required for a period of
days or longer to avoid wasting energy (see also section ‘When not
in use’).
BASIC OPERATION
Your Husky Wine Cooler must stand on an even, flat surface for quieter
operation.
To level the Wine Cooler, use the levelling feet at the bottom of the wine
cooler. Locate the Wine Cooler away from direct sunlight and any heat sources
(e.g. radiator, cooker). Extreme cold ambient temperatures may cause the
unit not to perform properly. Avoid locating the Wine Cooler in moist/damp
areas.
