TROUBLESHOOTING
Before seeking assistance, check the following points; you may be able to
solve any problem yourself.
Not cooling
Outer surfaces are wet
Inner surfaces are wet
The Wine Cooler turns
on and off frequently
The Wine Cooler is
noisy
Not achieving
temperature set
Problem Solution
• Check power cable is connected and fuse is intact.
• Wrong temperature selected.
Adjust setting on the thermostat (see page 10)
• Cooler is overfilled.
• The Wine Cooler is exposed to direct sunlight or a heat
source, so move the Wine Cooler.
• Door is opened too often.
• Water source or leak too near the Wine Cooler – dry
surfaces thoroughly and move the Wine Cooler.
• Door opened too often or left open.
• The room temperature is hotter than normal.
• A large amount of contents has recently been added to
the Wine Cooler.
• The door is opened too often.
• The door is not closed completely.
• The temperature control is not set correctly.
• The door gasket does not seal properly.
• It is normal for some noise to come from a Wine Cooler.
Any rattling may come from the refrigerant flow in the
Wine Cooler. As each cycle ends, you may hear gurgling
sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant in your Wine
Cooler.
• Contraction and expansion of the inside walls may cause
popping and crackling noises. All the above should be at
a minimum.
• The Wine Cooler is not on a level surface, or may be
touching other items.
• The temperature shown on the display is showing the
temperature of where the sensor is located. It is perfectly
normal operation for the temperature to read a different
temperature to the set temperature, as the temperature
within the Wine Cooler will fluctuate continually.
• Temperature performance is affected by several factors, i.e.
how often the door is opened, the ambient temperature,
how full the Wine Cooler is, etc.
• If the temperature shown is higher than the set
temperature, there is no need to reset as the Wine Cooler
will be continually working to reach the required set
temperature.
The light does not
work • The light button is ‘OFF’.
• The light will automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
