Install the Stationary Rail Stabilizer
A side stack shade has only one stationary rail. A split stack shade has two stationary rails.
Follow the instructions below to install the stabilizer for each stationary rail.
■
Use a level to ensure the stationary rail is vertical.
Then mark the edge of the stationary rail near the
bracket.
IMPORTANT:
See “Troubleshooting” on page 15
to adjust the vertical alignment of the stationary rail,
if necessary.

Slide the stationary rail hanger temporarily 3-4 inches away from the end of the headrail.
This will allow you access to mount the stationary rail bracket.
■
Mark ¾" (or 1" if your shade has a return) from your rail
mark toward the shade.
■
Center the holes of the mounting bracket on the mark and
mark the location for the screw holes.

Drill the screw holes using a

" drill bit.
IMPORTANT:
Use drywall anchors when mounting into
drywall. Drywall are anchors not provided.

Fasten the mounting bracket to the surface using the screws provided.
IMPORTANT:
If you used a spacer block on the installation
brackets, then the mounting bracket for the rail stabilizer will also
need a ½" spacer block.

Slide the stationary rail stabilizer into the groove on the back of the
stationary rail. It may be necessary to tilt the bottom of the rail out
to in order to insert the stabilizer.
■
Slide the stationary rail hanger back to the end cap or end of the
headrail.
■
Press the stationary rail stabilizer onto the
mounting bracket.
