You can assemble your fan for mounting to a ceiling over 9’ high (steps
3-1 – 3-2) or to a ceiling between 8’ and 9’ high (steps 3-3 – 3-7).
3-1.  To assemble fan to hang down from a flat or angled ceiling that is

over 9’ high, insert the downrod through the canopy and canopy
trim ring. Feed the wires and braided cable from the fan through
the downrod.

3-2.  Screw the downrod into the fan assembly. Tighten the allen head

set screw using the included allen wrench. Skip to Step 3-8.

CAUTION:

e downrod has a special coating on the threads.

Do not remove this coating; the coating prevents the downrod from
unscrewing. Once assembled, do not remove the downrod.

3-3.  To assemble the fan to hang down from a flat or angled ceiling

that is between 8’ and 9’ high, first you have to remove the 8”
pipe from the black ball. Remove the screw and push the pipe up
through the ball. Remove the cross bar.

3-4.  read the cross bar through the shorter (2.5”) pipe and insert the

pipe into the black ball. Tighten the screw completely.

3-5.  Remove the wire cage from the fan assembly by unscrewing all

four screws. Retain the cage in case you want to move the fan to a
higher ceiling.

3-6.  Insert the downrod (2.5”) through the canopy and canopy trim

ring. Feed the wires and braided cable from the fan through the
downrod.

3-7.  Screw the downrod into the fan assembly. Tighten the allen head

set screw using the included allen wrench.

3-8.  Raise the fan and place the hook on the ceiling plate through the

U-shaped hole in the rim.

WARNING:

Fan may fall if not assembled as directed in these

installation instructions.
