Installation Overview

Your order will include four specialty brackets per shade.

Specialty brackets are required for both the headrail and the bottom rail. They are 
mounted at the top and bottom of the window opening.

Mounting Types and Window Terminology

If the specialty brackets are mounted correctly, the rest of the installation process follows 
easily. To prepare for this important first step, review the mounting types and basic window 
terminology illustrated below.
