Set Up the Control Head
Set Alarms
Your control head provides a wide variety of alarms that are organized under categories such as System, Navigation, Sonar, and Engine.
Before you start navigating with your control head, set up the appropriate alarms so that you will be alerted if the alarm condition is
detected.
NOTE:
Some alarms include default settings. Use the instructions below to change an alarm setting.
Set an Alarm
1. From the Home screen, select
Alarms
.
2. Select an alarm category and open the submenu.
3. Select an alarm name.
4. Tap the ON/OFF slider to turn the alarm ON.
5. Drag the slider, or use the Rotary Dial, to adjust the menu setting.
NOTE:
Menu options that include range menus may have an OFF
default setting and may not automatically turn on when you
adjust the menu setting. Confirm the menu option is turned ON
before adjusting the range setting. The current setting will
change from black (OFF) to yellow (ON).
6. Tap the back arrow on-screen, or press the EXIT key
, to close
the submenu and return to the Alarms menu.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 to set additional alarms.
8. Press the EXIT key
to return to the Home screen.
