handset returns to the previous regist-
ration status. You can re-enter the PIN
code.
Internal calls
If you have registered several handsets to a
base, you can hold internal calls, and con-
nect external calls between the handsets.
To make an internal call, proceed as follows:
1. Press the
key on the handset.
2. Enter the desired handset number from
1 to 5. With 9, all handsets are called.
If you enter a wrong number, the handset
will give a warning tone.
When you receive an internal call, the num-
ber of the calling handset will be shown on
the display.
Connecting calls between handsets
An external call can be forwarded from one
handset to another.
Proceed as follows:
1. Press the
key on the handset
during the call. The external caller is put
on hold.
2. Enter the desired handset number from
1 to 5.
3. The dialled handset will ring. The number
of the calling handset will be shown on
the display.
4. Answer the call with
.
5. If you like, you can now speak with the
selected user. You can now hang up
before the user accepts the call, and the
call is then directly forwarded.
6. Press the
key to end the call. The
caller on hold is automatically forwarded
to the other caller.
To cancel the transfer, press the
key
again and you can speak with the external
caller again.
If the selected handset is not answered
within a certain time, the call is reset.
Three-party conference
If you are both having an external call and
there is an intercom situation, you can set
up a three-party conference.
Proceed as follows:
1. Press the
key on the handset
during the call. The external caller is put
on hold.
2. Enter the desired handset number from
1 to 5.
3. The dialled handset will ring. The number
of the calling handset will be shown on
the display.
4. Answer the call with
.
5. The caller can now press the
key to
start the three-party conference.
Caller ID with call waiting
If you have a call waiting service from your
local telephone company, the name and/or
telephone number of the second caller is
displayed on the display while you are hol-
ding a call with another conversation part-
ner.
In the left menu key, press “Flash” to answer
the second call. The first caller is put on
hold.
Press “Flash” again to return to the first call.
