Caution:
To keep the risk of fault as low as possible,
do not place the telephone near televisions,
monitors, ventilators, etc. Do not place the
telephone in direct sunlight or close to a
heat source. Only use the original telephone
cable or a comparable one with international
assignment.
Before first-time use of the telephone, ple
-
ase place it in the charger of the base sta-
tion, so that the batteries are fully charged
and their maximum storage capacity can be
used.
Note: Avoid storing the batteries in the hand
-
set if you are not using your telephone for a
long period of time (approx. 6 months).

Inserting the batteries into the handset
The handset requires three 1.2V batteries
(type “AAA”) for operation.
To insert the batteries, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the battery cover at the bottom
of the handset.
2. Now insert three 1.2V batteries (type
“AAA”) into the battery compartment.
Ensure correct polarity of the batteries!
3. Now close the battery cover.
Connecting the telephone
1. Insert the smaller connector (Western
plug) of the telephone cable into the
socket of the base station (back of the
device). Insert the larger connector (TAE
plug) into the socket of your telephone
line.
3. Insert the cable of the mains adapter
into the DC 7.5 socket. Plug the mains
adapter into a 230V power socket.
