11) HEALTH PROTECTION
The area or country in which you ride the scooter may require the use of specific safety accessories. It is your responsibility to
familiarize yourself with the laws and other binding regulations in force in the area where you ride the scooter.
Comply with all local cycling laws and regulations. It is your responsibility to know and respect these laws.
• Wear a bicycle helmet that meets the applicable standards. Always follow the helmet manufacturer´s instructions (suitability,
use and maintenance). The most serious accidents include head injuries (often resulting in death), which can be prevented by
using a suitable helmet.
• Always perform a mechanical safety check before using the scooter.
• Be familiar with the control functions of your scooter.
• Avoid contact of body parts, clothing loose hair, or held objects with the rotating parts of the scooter.
• Wear suitable footwear.
• Wear visible/reflective clothing.
• Wear safety goggles.
• Do not jump on the scooter or perform other acrobatic manoeuvres. The scooter is not designed or adapted to these riding
styles.
• Drive at a speed adapted to the surrounding conditions. Higher speed means more risk.
