4.0 UNPACKING

4.1 UNPACKING

As soon as possible, unpack and inspect the antenna containers to ensure that all material has been received and is
in good condition. An illustration and description of each major component is shown below.

The front of the

reflector is covered with a hydrophobic coating. Handle the reflector so that you do not touch this coating
or disturb it in any way. In addition, the feedhorn lens is protected with a styrofoam covering. Do not
remove it until after the antenna assembly is installed on the mount. Do not touch the feedhorn lens.

The hardware kit supplied with the antenna contains the following items:

There are two possible feed systems available for the antenna. One feed system for an RA6-074 transceiver and
another for an RA6--TG transceiver.
