Badger Saw Drive System Set Up
To change the chain drive sprocket remove
the pilot bearing one (1) shim and the lock-
ing shaft collar, slide off the old sprocket
and key. Inspect the key and make sure it is
not worn out or damaged. Replace key if
necessary. Install new sprocket and key if
necessary. Reassemble in reverse order
from disassembly order.
(Note) The pilot bearing does not have set
or lock screws in it. It does not require
them. They are removed at the factory.
Set up from left to right; looking at the drive assembly wit the guard cover off parts will
be in the following order;
Locking shaft collar, bearing, pulley, locking shaft collars, bearing, shim, locking shaft
collar, shim, bearing, three (3) shims, bearing, locking shaft collar bearing, two (2) shims,
chain drive sprocket and key, locking shaft collar, one (10 shim and pilot bearing.
