6) Adjust the wood length rod to desired length (figure 6-A)
7 a) Pull D-handle to raise log hold down as log enters cut-
ting area while winching (Figure 7-A and 7-A-1)
7 b) Winch the log up the trough through the guard until the
log is at desired length. Release the winch lever

BE CAREFUL WHEN WINCHING THE LOG. BE SURE THE
WINCH IS ON LOW SPEED AND SAW BAR IS FULLY RAISED
IN UP POSITION.
8) Saw the log. Using the handle push down until the saw bar is close to the log. Push the
toggle switch to start the chain, pull down on the handle and cut the log off.
9) Once cut through, the log will drop. Release the toggle switch and let the handle raise
to start position. The handle is spring loaded to go back up in raised position.
