5. Fix the foot of the FG 41 to the console (8) with the 4 screws M8 and washers (4) supplied.
If the unit is fastened with M6 screws, the 4 sleeves (11) must be inserted into the holes.
This is not necessary for M8 screws.
WARNING!
From a shock load of 20 g, friction-enhancing discs (5) must be used. These
discs are not included in the scope of delivery. See also chapter 12 .
6. Secure the coupling hub on the encoder shaft using the set - screw (8).

NOTES!
If the minimum tensile strength at the screw-in thread of the customer interface is not
observed, suitable measures must be taken (e.g. by using Ensat bushes).
Dismantling the FG 41
Remove all electrical connection cables of the FG 41 before dismantling.
To dismantle the FG 41 follow the instructions given in chapter 5.5 or rather 5.6 in the reverse
order.

At assembly, dismantling and other work to the device the basic safety
instructions to chapter 2 must be observed.
The assembly, dismantling and other work on the device may only be carried
out by qualified personnel.
