P/P Scanning
– This menu item enables/disables scanning of the party lines. Party lines are scanned for
audio activity. If audio is detected, the system remains locked on the party line until the audio is no
longer detected. (Requires the Page/Party
®
Interface). This button sequence is used:
<ENTER> to enter the menu system
<SELECT> to scroll the menu to the

Clear Options
– This menu item clears previously configured AMI hardware options from the system. A
subsequent reboot of the system will “rediscover” the available hardware options. This button sequence
is used:

Firmware Update
– This menu item provides the means for updating the firmware of the AMI main
board. This button sequence is used:

<ENTER> to confirm the selection.
The display will show
updating
, followed by
complete
when the firmware update has been
successfully completed. The unit will then reboot, using the updated firmware.
System Reboot -
This menu item reboots the AMI main board. This button sequence allows the user to
reboot the system:
