4.7 1RU Hybrid Chassis
The RFL™ PLC Hybrid Pro 1RU hybrid chassis installs in a standard 19” rack. One chassis can hold
up to [3] individual hybrid modules. Where more are required, units may be stacked on top of one
another.
The hybrid cards install from the rear of the chassis. Each rear panel has information relevant to the
hybrid, such as typical losses. This is a convenient reference when taking level measurements through
the hybrid chain during commissioning or regular service to help verify that the losses are appropriate
(or not).
At the front of the chassis, behind the drop-down door, there are test points on each card which allow
for easy level measurements when the unit is in-service. This allows the technician to quickly check
levels without having to go around to the rear of the unit and break connections. Test points are
brought out to BNC connectors, so no special hardware / adapter is required. Taking level
measurements has never been easier.
