Parameter Description Setting
Camera IP IP address of the
VPT300.
Set this parameter based
on the site requirements.
The default value is
192.168.1.1 .
NOTE
The VPT300 IP address
must be an IPv4 address.
Subnet mask Subnet mask of the
VPT300.
Set this parameter based
on the site requirements.
The default value is
255.255.255.0 .
Gateway address Gateway address of the
VPT300.
Set this parameter based
on the site requirements.
This parameter has no
default value.
Password for upgrades Upgrade password of the
VPT300.
Set the password as
preferred. The default
upgrade password of the
VPT300 is Change_Me .
The password contains 8
to 32 characters. It must
contain at least two
types of the following:
uppercase letters,
lowercase letters, digits,
and special characters.
Step 5 Choose Maintenance > Diagnostics . In the Network Test area, enter the IP
address of the VPT300 and click Start , as shown in Figure B-3 , to test that the TE
endpoint can communicate with the VPT300.
