Configuring the GPON Service

This section describes how to configure the GPON service, including the trust mode, map mode
and layer-2 (L2) transparent transmission.

Context

Trust mode refers to the judging of data transmission priority. You can configure the GPON
encapsulation mode (GEM) port priority or VLAN priority as data transmission priority.
Map mode refers to the mapping between the GEM port for data transmission and VLAN. Three
mapping ways are included, that is, mapping GEM port to VLAN ID, to VLAN Priority, and to VLAN
ID + VLAN Priority.
