The overall power consumption of the telepresence system is about 3260 W, and the power
consumption of the illumination system is about 1200 W.
For telepresence rooms in areas where 220 V/10 A or 110 V/10 A power is provided, reserve:
l
At least six power sockets (each power socket on a separate power distribution loop).
l
Two RJ45 network interfaces.
l
One public switched telephone network (PSTN) telephone interface on the wall behind the
equipment cabinet.
NOTE
l
The PSTN telephone interface and one of the RJ45 network interfaces are reserved for office
applications.
l
Reserve at least one wall mounted power socket and one RJ45 network interface on the side wall.
3.4 Fire Control Facilities
The suspended ceiling in telepresence rooms must be installed with fire control facilities, such
as smoke sensors and fire sprinklers. Do not seal fire control facilities above the suspended
ceiling to ensure the safe use of the telepresence room.
If the ceiling of the room (in which the telepresence system is going to be installed) is already
equipped with fire control facilities, ensure that modifications to the ceiling do not damage them.
Install fire control facilities based on the layout of the fittings and inlets and outlets of the air
conditioners. Ensure that the new location meets construction standards in indoor fire control.
If no fire control facilities have been installed in the prospective telepresence room, install the
required fire control facilities based on the layout of the suspended ceiling and by referring to
the construction standards in indoor fire control.
