3.2 Single SmartLi Installation 

3.2.1 Installing a Fire Cylinder 

Procedure 

Step 1

 

Check the fire cylinder and all components for any damage, abrasion, or corrosion. If there is 
any visible abrasion or corrosion, replace the damaged components and all corroded 
components. 

Step 2

 

Fill the fire cylinder with extinguishant. The recommended extinguishant is 
heptafluoropropane or perfluorohexanone. 

Step 3

 

Check the status of the fire cylinder. 

 

Check that the valve is closed (vertical to the cylinder). 

 

Check that the reading of the pressure gauge on the fire cylinder is greater than 1.6 MPa 
and the pointer is in the green zone. 

Step 4

 

Remove the rear panel of the cabinet. 

Step 5

 

Install the fire cylinder.
