Inserting wires into the RJ45 connector
NOTICE

When inserting the wires, ensure that the braided layer that was tipped outwards has
inserted inside the connector.
l
Observe the side or front of the RJ45 connector to ensure that the core wires are inserted to
the bottom of the RJ45 connector.
Step 4
Use a crimping tool to crimp the connector. See
Figure 1-44
.

Use a cable cutter to evenly cut off the protruding braided layer of the connector along the
wire holder. See
