Perform the following steps to place fibers into the corrugated pipe.
Place the fibers straight and neatly.
Cut a certain length of the corrugated pipe according to the fiber length.
Make the open corrugated pipe that is cut straight.
Make the inner pipe open upward and lead the fibers to the inner pipe through the open aperture.
Two persons are required to place the fibers into the inner pipe. When one person places the fibers into the
inner pipe, the other person needs to cover the inner pipe with the outer pipe along the direction indicated by
the black arrow in the previous figure, to prevent the fibers protruding from the inner pipe.
Proper length of the corrugated pipe is required. This length is the distance from the cabinet to the ODF plus
the length the pipe extends into the cabinet and the ODF, so long as the fibers do not touch the upper beam
when routed inside the cabinet.
When routing fibers outside the cabinet, a open corrugated pipe or a winding pipe must be added for protecting
the fibers. One open corrugated pipe can contain 60 pieces of 2mm fibers. One 12 mm winding pipe can wind
30 pieces of fibers, while one 6 mm winding pipe can wind 18 pieces. In this section the corrugated pipe is
taken as an example.
