A DC PDC contains eight power inputs and eight power outputs. If a short-circuit copper bar is used, the eight
power inputs and eight power outputs are changed to four power inputs and eight power outputs.
Area A and area B of the DC PDU serve as mutual hot backups.
The power output terminal at side A of the DC PDU provides two channels of power supplies to the PIU
housed in slot 27 of the OptiX PTN 3900 subrack. The power output terminal at side B of the DC PDU
provides two channels of power supplies to the PIU housed in slot 28 of the subrack.
