Checking the Status Indicators on the Controller Enclosure (Front View)
Switching on the external power sources of the devices in the following sequence:
Disk enclosures
→
controller enclosure
→ switch (for SAN) → application server.
Before you power on the system, ensure that you have connected the disk enclosures to the controller
enclosure.
The power-on process takes about ten minutes. The disk enclosures start after the controller
enclosure is started.
Check the status indicators after the devices are powered on.
When the storage system is powered on, the colors of the indicators vary with the port speeds.
