Mobile network and Wi-Fi

6.1 How do I know whether my HUAWEI MediaPad is
using its mobile data or Wi-Fi connection to access the
Internet?

Once connected to a Wi-Fi network, your HUAWEI MediaPad uses its Wi-Fi connection to
access the Internet. Your HUAWEI MediaPad's mobile data will be used only when no Wi-Fi

networks are available. If

is displayed in the status bar, your HUAWEI MediaPad is

using its Wi-Fi connection to access the Internet.

6.2 Can I set a static IP address for my HUAWEI MediaPad
to connect to a Wi-Fi network?

Yes. To set a static IP address:
