Video Control
You can perform the following operations in this area:
Switch between cameras.
Start or stop playing videos.
Enable or disable the audio.
Enable or disable the intercom function.
NOTE
The camera uses a 3.5 mm RCA female adapter to connect to an
audio device.
5
PTZ Control
You can control the camera direction, zoom in or out,
and change the focal length and aperture for a dome
camera or a camera connected to an external PTZ.
Whether you can control the camera lens (zoom,
focus, and aperture) depends on the connected
external device. For example, if the camera is
connected to an decoding board through the RS485
interface, the camera lens (zoom and focus) can be
controlled (not recommended in this scenario).
NOTE
Currently, the aperture adjustment function is not supported.
6
PTZ Configure
You can perform the following operations in this area:
Add, delete, and invoke preset positions or tracks.
Adjust the PTZ rotation speed.
Set the direction to due north.
Enable or disable 3D positioning.
Set the PTZ timer.
NOTE
The PTZ timer functions as a time trigger. When it is
activated, the PTZ rotates according to preset positions or
tracks as scheduled.
The timer uses the time set in the IP camera. Ensure that the
time is correct.
This function is available only to High speed network dome
and a camera connected to an external PTZ.
