Allowing Only Specified Computers to Access Your WLAN
To prevent unauthorized access to your WLAN, you can specify which devices are allowed to access
your WLAN.
1.
View and record the MAC address of the laptop.

Log in to the web management page.
3.
In the navigation tree, choose
Basic
>
WLAN
and click
WLAN Filtering
.
4.
Select
Enable
.
5.
In
Filtering mode
, select
Whitelist
.
6.
Click
New
.
7.
In
Select SSID
, select the WLAN name.
8.
In
Source MAC address
enter the MAC address of the laptop.
The format of the MAC address entered in
Source MAC address
is different from that of the
MAC address displayed in the command line window of a Windows operating system. The
colons (:) replace the hyphens (-).
