Messages
Writing and Sending a Message
Do the following to write and send a message:
1. Select Menu > Messages > Write Message .
2. Write the message. You can enter up to 160 English letters or 70
Chinese characters. When writing a message, press
( Options ) to select the following items:
z
Send : Send the message.
z
Send&Save : Send the message and save it.
If the message is sent successfully, it is saved to the outbox, or it
is saved to the draft if it is failed to send.
z
Save : Save the message to the draft.
z
Insert Template : Insert a commonly used phrase.
z
Insert Phone Number : Select a contact from the phonebook
and insert its phone number into the message.
3. Add the recipient. You can add up to 10 recipients.
Do the following to add a recipient:
z
Enter a phone number directly.
z
Press ( Search ). Then select Search Phonebook to select a
phone number.
z
Press ( Search ). Then select Search Groups to select a
group.
4. Press ( Send ) or to send the message.
Viewing a Message
Do the following to view messages stored in the inbox:
1. Select Menu > Messages > Inbox .
2. Press to view messages.
