5.1.3 Thermal Design
Thermal design minimizes the impact of temperature changes product performance. It
focuses on the following information:
Component selection
Circuit design
Mechanical design
Heat dissipation
The thermal design ensures that the RRU3606 can operate reliably in a wide range of
temperatures.
5.1.4 EMC Design
The EMC design ensures that the electromagnetic interference (EMI) from other
equipment does not cause an unacceptable impact to RRU3606 performance, and vice
versa.
5.1.5 Reliability Measures for Input Power
The RRU3606 provides the following measures to ensure the reliability of its input
power:
Protection against reverse connection of power supply
Protection against sharp voltage drop and lightning strikes
Protection of program and data in case of power failure
5.1.6 Maintainability Design
Reasonable internal wiring of the RRU3606 enables easy board replacement. In
addition, board indicators are provided to help identify board status.
5.1.7 Fault Monitoring and Handling
The RRU3606 can detect, diagnose, and report software and hardware faults. In
addition, it collects environment information and generates alarms if there is any
exception.
5.2 Hardware Reliability
The hardware reliability of the RRU3606 is ensured by:
Monitoring
The RRU3606 can cascaded with and be monitored by an upper-level BBU3900.
Alarm reporting
