Maps Search (available by country)
The
Maps Search
tab uses Google Maps to search for locations and display maps.
On this tab, you can type in and search for a street address or places of interest such
as restaurants, hotels, and more, near your current location.
To search for a location
Enter the street address
or a place of interest (such
as hotel, restaurant, or
others) in the search bar.
Tap this icon to
perform the search.
Tip
Every time you search for places, they will be added to the history list and displayed
on the Maps Search tab. Next time you want to locate the same address or place of
interest, you can just choose it from the history list. This list can store up to eight most
recent entries.
To display a map that shows your current location
On the Maps Search tab, touch Maps at the lower-left side of the screen. The
Google Maps screen then opens and displays a map showing your current location.
