Starting Up 1.5
After installing your SIM card and battery and charging the battery, you can now
power on and start using your phone.
Turning the power on and off
To turn on the power
Press the END/POWER button.
When you turn on your phone for the first time, Windows Mobile starts up and
prepares your phone for first time use. When the preparation process is complete,
the subsequent screen then prompts you to choose whether to set up the data
connection and import SIM contacts to your phone. See “Auto configuring data
connection and importing SIM contacts” in this chapter for details.
To turn off the power
If the display is off, press the END/POWER button to turn the display back on. 1.
