CALIBRATION OF THE INSTRUMENT

1. Turn on the instrument by means of key
ON/OFF
2. Set the following configurations:
Weighting curve: A (dBA)
Integration type: FAST
Measuring range: 50 ÷ 100dB
3. Carefully insert the mobile calibrator

until a click is heard, as shown in Fig. 11.
4. Switch on the calibrator by selecting level

at sinusoidal frequency 1kHz.
5. Insert the provided screwdriver into the trimmer (see Fig. 1

part 16) and carry out a
manual adjustment until the result

is shown on the display.
6. Extract the calibrator from the microphone and switch it off by moving the relevant
selector to the
OFF
position.
