Before Initial Use
1. Remove any possible
fi
lms, stickers or transport protection from the device.
Never
remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
2. Set up and connect the device (see the “Setting Up and Connecting the Device”
chapter).
3. Use the rotary knob (

) to set the highest toasting level.
4. Press the lowering lever (
2
) down until it engages.
PLEASE NOTE:
The lowering
lever only clicks into place if the device is connected to a plug socket.
5. Perform three toasting operations without bread in order to remove any production
residues. Ensure that there is an interval of a few minutes between the toasting
operations.
