Jumper settings
Jumpers are used to close electric circuits. You can configure cards by setting the jumpers in the system.
Setting the jumpers
Prerequisites
Before setting the jumper or clearing CMOS, you must turn off the power supply to avoid damaging the
computer. Before powering on the power supply, you must ensure that the CMOS jumper is back to
3.0
V Battery On
.
You will need a standard cable to make the connections.

Procedure
1. Power down the gateway
on page 9.
2. Dismount the gateway
on page 12.
3. Remove the bottom access panel
on page 15.

Locate the jumper.
