Installing a Processor

Installing a Processor

Some operating systems support a second processor for increased
performance. Contact your authorized reseller for up-to-date
information.

1

Disconnect the computer’s power cord and any telecommunications
cable.

2

Remove the computer’s cover (see page 38).

3

Remove the airflow guide from above the processor socket.

4

Move the power supply to improve access to the processor socket
(see page 42), then carefully place the PC on its side.
